Well you're in luck!  I'm going to be running a couple of workshops on these very days at the Handmaker's Factory.

  

This beautiful creative space is run by the very talented Nichola Prested and includes workshops in screen printing, knitting techniques, stamp making, weaving, macrame and a whole lot more.

Tried & True sewing class

 Just confirmed, a TRIED & TRUE knicker making class at Tessuti in Melbourne.

Saturday November 10th is knicker making day, class runs from 11-4 but I'll be on hand from 10am to help with fabrics selections.  Class numbers are limited so be quick to book your spot.  The class will include a HOW TO attach knicker elastic demonstration and tips for achieving the perfect fit.
 

I'll have all the knicker patterns for sale on the day but be warned, knicker making is highly addictive!

 

Freddie's back!

No not the scary Freddy it's another FREDDIE VEST sewing class at Tessuti in Melbourne.  The class is scheduled for Saturday the 1st of September. Bookings can be made online via the Tessuti website right here and like last time I'll be in the store from 10am to help out with your fabric selections.

I'll be in the Melbourne store on Saturday the 7th of July taking a FREDDIE VEST sewing class and will have the entire pattern collection available for sale on the day.  See you there!

Details for the FREDDIE VEST sewing class at Tessuti in Melbourne have now been confirmed and you can book your spot right here

Saturday July 7th

11am - 4pm

Total cost including pattern $100.00

(Fabric and notions are not included)

 The class is for intermediate to advanced sewers and we'll be on hand an hour before to assist with fabric and trim selection if required. 

The vest above combines a textured cotton canvas with an evening fabric and printed silk lining all from Tessuti.  I've also refashioned a girly denim version out of an old pair of jeans as well as this one in a printed Japanese seersucker.

The Freddie Vest

Inspired by the late great Freddie Mercury the FREDDIE VEST is shaped way up high in the back with a low relaxed front.

The pattern for the FREDDIE VEST is available from our Etsy shop in Australian sizes 8-14.

In early July Jo and I will be hosting a FREDDIE VEST sewing class at Tessuti in Melbourne.  Details for the class are yet to be finalised however you can register your interest by emailing Lisa at fabrics@tessuti.com.au  Class numbers will be limited so be quick.
